Are you a detail-oriented, personable professional seeking an opportunity where you would be supporting an accounting department with administrative support? We’re looking for a tech-savvy Accounting Assistant to join this busy team! If you thrive in customer-facing roles and fast-paced environments, this role may be the perfect fit for you. This person will start next week and will provide support 40 hours a week until mid-January.
Key Responsibilities :
- Front Counter & Phones : Answer incoming calls and assist in managing the front counter to provide exceptional customer service.
- Utility Customer Support : Set up customer accounts, and help them navigate their customer portal
- Data Management : Scan documents, post payments, and maintain accuracy while processing and recording information.
- Invoice Review : Verify invoice entries to ensure correctness and compliance with company procedures.
- Administrative Support : Handle basic administrative tasks, including managing emails and scheduling through Outlook / Teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Personable and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented and organized, with a demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.Comfortable working in customer-facing roles and responding to inquiries.Strong technological proficiency and ability to quickly learn and assist others in navigating online portals.Familiarity with platforms like Outlook or Microsoft Teams is preferred.Why Join Us :
