The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a BC / BE fellowship-trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist for an open-rank faculty position.
Location : Offices in Winston-Salem, Clemmons, High Point, Greensboro, and Hickory North Carolina
The Team : 15 MFM faculty, six fellows, three genetic counselors, and expert sonographers providing care for high-risk pregnancies.
Our Department of OBGYN : Includes a generalist division and subspeciality divisions in maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, gynecologic oncology, and gynecologic specialties including faculty members trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. The department has an outstanding obstetrics and gynecology residency training program (six residents per year), and fellowship programs in MFM, gynecologic oncology, and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
The MFM Fellowship : We have an ACGME-certified maternal-fetal medicine fellowship that has a long history of training outstanding MFM providers. The program is currently approved for two fellows per year and the successful candidate will be expected to be actively involved in fellow education. The division has a strong clinical, basic, and translational research program that includes state-of-the art laboratory space, laboratory technicians, clinical research coordinators, and clinical research regulatory experts.
