Instructors are responsible for the facilitation of student learning and the on-going development of curriculum that meets the needs of students and employers utilizing instructional strategies that promote student success.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

The following duties are primarily performed and are essential for this position. Employees are expected to be able to perform each of these job duties satisfactorily and successfully to be qualified for the position. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Learning Facilitation - Foster student learning by developing appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs and support student engagement. Create learning experiences that integrate instructional technologies to maximize student success and multiple delivery methodologies such as hybrid, in-person, virtual, and on-line course delivery.

Teach courses covering electronically controlled diesel engines, drive trains, hydraulics, electrical systems, air conditioning, materials handling, and harvesting equipment.

Evaluate student performance through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and project-based work often in a shop / lab environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and / or Experience Requirements :

Note : One year of occupational experience may be waived if the candidate has at least two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the last five years, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates comparable knowledge and skills.

Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements :

Additional Information

Pay : $73,900.00 - $86,900.00

Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Based on experience and expertise, an individual with an Associate Degree or equivalent and willingness to obtain a Bachelor's Degree within specific timeframe may be considered.
