Norfolk Multi-family, a division of The Norfolk Companies based in Massachusetts, continues to grow and we are seeking an experienced Multi-family Project Manager to oversee all aspects of cabinetry and countertop projects across multi-family developments in the Orlando area. This dynamic role combines technical expertise with leadership, requiring someone who can manage subcontractors, coordinate logistics, and deliver exceptional results in both new construction and occupied unit environments.
As Project Manager, you'll be the central point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teamsensuring every project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Norfolk Multi-family is known to deliver.
Requirements : What You'll Do
Project Planning & Design
- Conduct field measurements and site assessments for installation planning
- Produce detailed shop drawings for installation
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, installation plans, and site specifications
- Create material orders in our ERP system (BisTrack)
Schedule & Resource Management
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure installation schedule is completed within scope of work.Maintain accurate installation schedules in Buildertrend for all projects and unitsCoordinate material deliveries and proactively resolve logistical or jobsite access challengesCustomer Communication
Serve as the primary contact for our customers, subcontractors and internal teams as it relates to installationManage scope changes through proper documentation channelsObtain and document customer signoffs upon completion of each unit installationProvide regular updates to Senior Construction Manager and / or Director of Multifamily on project milestones, issues, and schedule changesQuality Control & Documentation
Ensure all job-specific documents, measurements, and signed approvals are uploaded to BuildertrendMaintain organized project folders with consistent data entry and updatesEnsure timely resolution of punch list items and warranty-related callbacksReview and approve subcontractor invoices based on project progress and scope complianceEnsure all work complies with company safety standards and applicable building codesWhat You'll Need
Required Qualifications
5+ years of project management or supervisory experience in cabinetry, countertops, or multi-family constructionExperience managing both new construction installations and occupied unit work (turnovers)Strong knowledge of cabinetry and countertop components, installation processes, and layout / design standardsAbility to accurately measure job sites and create shop drawingsBilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written)Proficiency with Buildertrend , point-of-sale systems, and MS Office SuiteValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to travel to job sites daily within the territory (regular overnight travel may be required)Key Competencies
