This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as a Senior-Level Operations Support providing Fleet Reach Back Support - IAMD for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Travel may be required.

This role provides support across various SMWDC sites, including :
SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CAMine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CASea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CAIntegrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VAAmphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VAResponsibilities include, but not limited to :
Provide expertise in combat systems, C5I networks, and weapon systems to ensure operational readinessPlan and coordinate combat system operations within Strike Groups, Fleets, or Major Training CommandsSupport systems testing and ensure combat system effectiveness in military organizationsLead operations as a Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) or Carrier Group Integrated Control Officer (CG ICO) during Carrier Strike Group deploymentsEvaluate war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and system performance using qualitative and quantitative methodsCreate reports and presentations on operational readiness using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Access)Mentor junior personnel and provide leadership in mission planning and executionWork with senior leadership to align operations with strategic goalsRequirements : Experience :
Minimum 12 years of military experience, and / or relevant industry and / or government experience with the surface navy’s combat systems, C5I, networks, weapons systems and IAMD planning tools / systemsMinimum five (5) years of experience aboard Navy cruisers, destroyers, frigates or within qualified Department of Defense warfare areasQualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. Tactical Action Officer (TAO), Air Warfare Coordinator (AAWC), Battle Watch Captain)Possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter or BMD Watch Officer qualification letterExperience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluationsExperience in post weapons firing mission analysis of Aegis weapon systemsPreferred Attributes
Strong analytical skills to assess and improve tactical training and operational strategiesExcellent communication and collaboration abilities for interfacing with Navy leadership and cross-functional teamsSecurity Clearance :
