DESCRIPTION :

The primary purpose of this position is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC mill / lathe equipment to manufacture precision parts to meet certain requirements.

JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Provides operation and set up of manual / CNC HAAS mills / lathes.
• Inspect parts visually and dimensionally with calipers or micrometers to assure conformance to requirements. This could also include the inspection of parts from other vendors that will require the use of FARO gage plus CMM unit.
• Cleans and maintains machinery and maintains a safe and clean work area as necessary.
• Troubleshoots and corrects problems in a timely manner.
• Performs other functions as required.
• Performs program edits and corrections as necessary.
