Bravo Recruiting Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing services in accordance with established standards and guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership and Supervision :

  • Supervise and manage nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss patient care, address concerns, and promote team morale.
  • Patient Care Coordination :

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
  • Quality Assurance :

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in nursing care.
  • Conduct audits and report on quality metrics, implementing improvement plans as required.
  • Training and Development :

  • Provide orientation and training to new nursing staff and ongoing education for current employees.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff in professional development and leadership skills.
  • Communication :

  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care.
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and upper management, advocating for nursing needs and concerns.
  • Crisis Management :

  • Respond to emergencies and provide clinical support as needed.
  • Implement appropriate protocols in crisis situations to ensure patient safety and health.
  • Qualifications
  • Education :

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Licensure :

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or Compact license.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Skills :

  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology.
