Job Summary

TestPros is seeking to fill a remoteAccessibility Compliance Assessment Consultant role on a corporate contract. We are specifically looking for accessibilityprofessionals with experience in hardware testing (TVs, Appliances) and also Section 508 and W3C WCAG Accessibility assessments, manual and automated testing, and software remediation.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform complete audits and validation testing on cell phones.
• Write detailed findings to document identified issues and recommend potential solutions and best practices for remediation of accessibility violations.
• Apply software fixes and / or additional accessibility features within the target software source code.
• Develop and deliver informative and useful high quality outreach / educational presentations.
• Prepare and conduct training on accessibilityrelated topics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

with experience in

the following IT Accessibility Requirement (from WCAG 2.1 AA) :

Section 1194.23 Telecommunications Products. Specifically, "1194.23 (i) Interference to hearing technologies (including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening devices) shall be reduced to the lowest possible level that allows a user of hearing technologies to utilize the telecommunications product".
