Maintenance Support Team Member
This position is for a Maintenance Support team member to manage the supply and parts inventory used for facility repairs and maintenance in our plastics manufacturing plant. This role is critical to ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with vendors, and supporting the maintenance team with timely access to required parts and tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize inventory of maintenance supplies, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
- Track usage and reorder parts to ensure optimal stock levels and avoid downtime.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming maintenance materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and delivery of parts.
- Support maintenance technicians by preparing and staging parts for scheduled repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and part usage.
- Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures.
- Monitor equipment and tool condition; coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to forecast part needs based on upcoming projects or recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in storage and handling of materials.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.2+ years of experience in inventory management, maintenance support, or a related role in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with maintenance operations and industrial parts (especially in plastics manufacturing).Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer applications (Excel, CMMS, ERP systems).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to lift and move heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
