What You'll Do in Your First 612 Months

  • Build and own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across engineering, AI, and product.
  • Partner with Jon, Jeff, and hiring managers to define scorecards, structure loops, and close top-tier talent.
  • Develop outbound sourcing strategies to consistently bring in high-signal candidatesbeyond LinkedIn.
  • Ensure a world-class candidate experience from first touch to offer letter.
  • Stand up a structured recruiting process that can scale with the company's growth.
  • Help define and refine Assort's talent brand through tools, copy, and creative candidate engagement.

What You Bring

  • 26 years of in-house recruiting experience in fast-paced, high-bar environmentsideally with a focus on technical roles.
  • Full-cycle recruiting expertise , from scorecard creation and sourcing to offers and closing.
  • Creative sourcing skills beyond LinkedIncomfortable using GitHub, forums, referrals, and new AI sourcing tools.
  • Excellent communication and candidate-facing instinctsyou can pitch the mission and build trust fast.
  • Strong ownership mindset you move quickly, manage your own pipeline, and raise the bar every week.

    • About the Role

    You're a Designer with strong instincts for brand and systems . You know how to craft experiences that are both elegant and effectiveacross web, product, and narrative surfaces. You move fast, sweat the details, and care deeply about how things feel, not just how they look.

    You'll own design across Assortfrom marketing site to dashboards, call summaries, onboarding flows, and pitch decks. You'll build our first design system and evolve our brand identity, working closely with product, engineering, and GTM to bring clarity to every user touchpoint.

    This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of product and brand storytelling, and who's excited to work closely with engineering, product, and go-to-market from day one.

    What You'll Do

  • Redesign and own our marketing siteincluding homepage, product pages, and careersto reflect our next stage of growth.
  • Build our first design system from scratch and scale it across app, web, and brand surfaces.
  • Design new product experiences from the ground uplike our patient call summaries and voice agent dashboards.
  • Shape how Assort shows up : across decks, demo visuals, onboarding flows, and more.
  • Partner with Product, Eng, and GTM to ship fast, test constantly, and improve with every release.

    • What We're Looking For

  • 48 years of experience designing and shipping digital productsideally in B2B, SaaS, or GTM ops-heavy toolswith both product UX and brand instinct .
  • A portfolio that shows taste and results whether it's a clean scheduling flow, a flexible design system, or a homepage that converts.
  • You've owned design systems and shipped featuresnot just concepts. You think in components and scale across surfaces (dashboards, EMRs, slides).
  • Proficiency with Figma, Webflow, Slides , and modern tools (AI plugins, Notion AI, etc.) to move quickly and iterate faster.
  • You turn messy real-world workflows (scheduling, triage, call handling) into intuitive, focused UI.
  • You thrive in scrappy early-stage teams where speed, clarity, and clean handoffs matter more than perfect specs.
  • You can move between Marketing and Product , polish and velocity, critique and alignmentwithout dropping your standards.
