Job Summary

Within the context of the Nursing Professional Practice Framework and under the supervision of the Transplant Quality Manager, the Data & Regulatory RN is responsible for ensuring the Transplant Program meets the data reporting and policy requirements of regulatory agencies. The Data & Regulatory RN is someone who understands that illustrating a story using data helps the team analyze our outcomes and improve processes, supporting our constant quest to provide the safest, highest-quality care for the Transplant community in our area.

The successful Data & Regulatory candidate must be self-directed, have strong communication skills, and be able to collaborate with the other members of the health care team. The RN Data & Regulatory Nurse supports the healthcare team by performing foundational data collection and analysis related to patient health status under the supervision of the Transplant Quality Manager. This role involves gathering and reviewing patient information from a variety of sources, observing patient responses, and ensuring accurate documentation that is in compliance with departmental and regulatory policies.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• ADN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role)
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire.
