ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Use manual welding skills to manufacture weldments to defined specifications, workmanship standards, and production schedule.
- Prepare and set up necessary tools and equipment for welding jobs.
- Arrange parts for welding and staging processes.
- Perform quality inspections and checks per quality documentation / control plan, including documentation of results.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Lead.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, following prescribed safety procedures.
- Uphold site efficiency and productivity standards.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement for safety and quality standards and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead.
- Assist in other work areas as needed.
