Regional Traffic Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You'll oversee regional traffic operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective movement of goods in line with local regulations and global traffic strategy. This will involve :
Ensure import / export compliance by monitoring declarations, managing brokers, and resolving documentation issues.
Collaborate with internal teams on customs / trade questions and maintain broker databases, scorecards, and escalation logs.
Support HTS classification, conduct audits, and serve as SME during customs reviews or audits.
Oversee daily export operations, including document generation, AES filings, and coordination with carriers / forwarders.
Maintain accurate export documentation, improve workflows, and ensure FTA / USMCA compliance.
Manage international transportation flows across air, ocean, and parcel shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and cost control.
Audit freight bills, resolve discrepancies, and monitor logistics KPIs (cost, on-time delivery, carrier compliance, transit times).
Build strategic partnerships with global logistics providers to drive efficiency and service excellence.
Develop and manage Duty Drawback programs by reconciling data, submitting accurate claims, and leading related audits.
HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE
We're looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need :
8 years experience in the field or 4 years if you have a BA in a similar field
Intermediate to advanced experience around international trade both transportation experience and customs / compliance experience
Experience in international transportation
Worked closely or led processes with customs agencies
Familiarity with FTA programs, especially USMCA, and supporting documentation requirements.
Proficient in analyzing and reconciling trade data for auditing and reporting purposes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional projects.
Knowledge of Oracle GTM or similar trade management systems preferred
