Fratesi's is a Pizza Tavern in Downtown Miami set to open in June of 2025. Chef / Owner, Chris Fratesi, has been making pizza for years, most notably with popups at Over Under and Tam Tam. The pizza has gained notoriety and a loyal following for it's crispiness, flavor, and affordability.

The restaurant was designed to feel timeless and nostalgic and remind everyone of the best experiences they've had eating pizza with family, friends, and loved ones.

Overview :

Oversee the restaurant operations on a day to day basis. Strong leadership should be accompanied by a customer service orientation and commitment to company values and image. Maintain attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of staff, as well as the financial success of the establishment.

Responsibilities :

  • Training staff to provide excellent service to patrons.
  • Scheduling and hiring of front of house staff.
  • Liaison between front of house and kitchen staff during service.
  • Responsible for performance and management of hourly front of house staff.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures of company are met to expectation.
  • Ensure lighting, sound, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant is where it needs to be and adjusted based on the room.
  • Maintain cleanliness and service standards by front of house employees and throughout the dining room and guest facing areas.
  • Manage the opening and / or closing processes of the restaurant.
  • Keep the POS updated with stock, pricing, and menu changes.
  • Assist the host and reservationist in managing reservations and keeping the restaurant full.
  • Maintaining a fun and safe environment for patrons and staff.

Experience and Qualification :

  • Proficiency with Toast
  • Working knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance.
  • Competency in resource management and inventory control.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles, personnel management and marketing
