We are looking for a part-time Alcohol Drug Trainee (ADT) to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting chemical dependency assessments, maintaining a caseload of OP clients, providing individualized care to clients who attend the program through 1 : 1 sessions, and facilitating daily group sessions. The Counselor works in conjunction with Peer Recovery Coaches to encourage clients throughout their recovery journey in a manner that is respectful, therapeutic, and free from abuse, neglect, and exploitation
Responsibilities
Complete substance use disorder assessments, treatment plans, group notes, and other clinical documentation.
The ability to verbally communicate with clients and staff in a clear and concise manner.
Complete documentation daily for services provided.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
Facilitate substance use disorder groups.
Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care and treatment.
Be familiar with current approaches toward treatment pertaining to Substance-Related Disorders, Mental Health Disorders, and ICD-10 codes.
Be familiar with COMAR regulations, DHMH, and CARF requirements.
