We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you'll support the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions that help guide strategic decision-making across the company. You'll also play a key role in audit preparation, capital expenditure tracking, and ensuring financial compliance.

Job Responsibilities :
Financial Analysis & Reporting :
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial performance and key metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, costs)
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and communicate insights to leadership
Budgeting & Forecasting :
Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecastsAssist in building financial models and gathering department-level inputsMaintain and update financial forecasts based on changing business needsCost & CapEx Monitoring :
Track and analyze operating expenses across departmentsMonitor and report on capital expenditures (fleet, tools, equipment, office assets)Ensure alignment with approved budgets and assist in depreciation trackingVariance & Performance Analysis :
Perform variance analysis of SG&A and operational costsIdentify and explain deviations from budget or forecast to senior managementAudit & Compliance Support :
Assist with interim and year-end financial auditsPrepare supporting schedules and documentation for auditorsHelp ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirementsData Management & Systems :
Leverage Excel, Power BI, and ERP / GL systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, ServiceTitan)Maintain accurate financial data and support reporting automationAd-Hoc & Strategic Projects :
Provide analytical support for special projects and initiativesHelp improve reporting and planning processes through automation and best practicesRequired Skills & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, accounting, or audit (internships considered)Advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze and manipulate large datasetsStrong understanding of financial statements and core accounting principlesAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex financial data clearlyPreferred but not required :
Experience in the construction or real estate industryFamiliarity with work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and revenue recognitionExposure to audit preparation and compliance processesUnderstanding of CapEx tracking, asset capitalization, and depreciation methodsExperience with financial systems such as Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or BI toolsRequirements :
