Medical Assistant II - UI Health Care Specialty Clinic 80%

University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a 80% Medical Assistant II (32 hours per week) to work at our Urology Northgate Clinic . University of Iowa Health Care's specialty clinic provides a convenient location for medical and surgical care for male and female patients, and selected services for pediatric patients. This position will mainly support patients at the Northgate Urology Clinic but could float to other clinic locations based on clinical needs / hours.

Our experts provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment in the clinic setting as well as surgical interventions for all urologic system diseases and disorders. Our multidisciplinary teams are formed from medical and surgical specialties across the institution to provide patient-centered care. Duties to include :

• Staff will support our Urology Clinic.
• Under direct supervision of physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or registered nurse.
• Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in an ambulatory setting.

Duties may involve the use of electronic word / data processing equipment and / or conventional office equipment.

Schedule : Monday - Friday; variable hours 7 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM.

Location : Iowa City, IA (and surrounding sites based on clinical needs / hours up to a two-hour radius)

Salary : $32,723.14 - $48,608.54 / Hourly : $19.59 - $29.10 (based on years of experience)
