Echocardiographer – Day or Night Shift | Full-Time | Permanent Hire

$75,000 – $114,000 per year (DOE)

Diagnostic Imaging | Cardiology Department | No Holiday Coverage

An award-winning hospital in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join its diagnostic imaging team. This is a permanent, full-time position with your choice of day or night shifts and no required holiday coverage. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on providing high-quality, age-appropriate cardiac diagnostic care across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform transthoracic, M-Mode, Doppler, transesophageal, stress, and pharmacologic echocardiograms

Support additional cardiac tests including EKGs, Holter monitoring, and cardiac stress studies

Operate a range of cardiac imaging equipment and software systems

Ensure proper documentation, scheduling, and charge processing

Practice and promote aseptic technique and infection control protocols

Precept students and support clinical education as needed

Deliver care for patients of all ages, including pediatric and neonatal populations

Participate in a flexible team environment, performing duties within your scope as assigned

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS or RCS)

BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start)

Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography OR completion of an accredited certification program

Pediatric and neonatal experience preferred but not required

Strong communication and organizational skills

Position Details :

$75,000 – $114,000 annually , based on experience

Day or night shift available – Full-time schedule with flexibility

No holiday coverage required
