Currently, we're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our office team!

Primary Job Function : As the Financial Controller at Riley Plumbing Heating & Air, you will oversee all financial aspects of our growing company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. You will manage accounting operations, maintain internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. This role is essential to our commitment to financial transparency and growth, providing you with an opportunity to make a significant impact within our locally owned, family-oriented company.

Position : Financial Controller

Work Hours : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 - 5 : 00pm

Pay Range : Annual earnings of up to $145,000 yearly, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff.
  • Oversee tax planning and coordinate audits.
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and present key findings

    • Required Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of financial closing experience
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • 3+ years in a supervisory role with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create and present training materials to groups
  • CPA or MBA, preferred
