About The Position
Critical Care Physician Assistant - Pennsylvania - No Call
Block-scheduled CVICU opportunity in Hershey, Pennsylvania, at a leading academic medical center with advanced cardiac technology and intensivist support.
Highlights
- 3 shifts per week (13 hours each)
- Block scheduling for long stretches off
- Level I Trauma Center, 30-bed cardiovascular ICU
- No call required
Practice Setting
Inpatient CVICU within a major academic hospitalSupport from two APPs per shift and full intensivist teamDedicated rounding assignments, no cross-coverageCerner charting systemSchedule
Shifts are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.Includes weekends and major holidaysConsistent need through March 2026Procedures and Cases
VA and VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant managementArterial and central lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP removalPostoperative care and daily rounding for critically ill cardiac patientsRequirements
