Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location : Fayetteville, NC

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 00)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and biopsies.
  • Operate fluoroscopy and digital imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images during procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining sterile technique.
  • Monitor patient vitals and condition during procedures, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and anesthesia staff.
  • Administer and document contrast media usage and adhere to radiation safety standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and assist with inventory management of interventional supplies.
  • Accurately document procedures and patient data in the Epic electronic health record (EHR).
  • Float within scope to support other radiology or procedural units as needed.
  • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience (required)
  • Proficiency with vascular and non-vascular IR procedures
  • Familiarity with sterile techniques, radiation protection, and advanced imaging systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Epic charting experience (preferred)
