Job Title : Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated laborers to join our team, responsible for reading construction design requirements and building trusses and wood panels in a yard setting. The role involves picking and staging lumber, cutting it, and assembling components using hand and power tools. Instructions are conveniently displayed on TVs throughout the shop area, eliminating the need to handle physical blueprints.

• Cut lumber and build components using hand and power tools.
• Work in a yard setting, adhering to safety standards.
• Follow illuminated instructions displayed on TVs in the shop.

Work Environment

Work in a shop / yard environment with 51 current employees. Each shift will have 8-10 crew members in each building. The 2nd shift runs from 2 : 30 PM to 11 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. The dress code requires construction attire, including work pants, sweatshirts, gloves, and steel or carbon toe boots, with adjustments for weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75 / hr.
