Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a key player in an existing and emerging Windchill QMS platform environment. This exciting role involves a variety of tasks, including research, analysis, design, configuration, testing, diagnosis, maintenance, support, training, and implementation of cutting-edge information technology solutions within the Windchill platform.
Essential Duties
- Configure Windchill (Doc Mgmt., Change Control, Non Conformance, Audits, PLM, Supplier Controls, Thingworks) to enhance the overall product capability and feature set to meet the needs of a global user base.
- Validate Windchill to fit business requirements by identifying solution options and business process changes, if necessary.
- Identify and implement basic to complex options, perform analysis and design, execute configuration options, test, document, and maintain IT solutions.
- Apply highly professional business and / or technical knowledge when working with customers, other ITS groups, and vendors.
- Conduct research and identify problems to significantly improve, change, or adapt existing methods and techniques according to business needs.
- Demonstrate the ability to accept personal accountability and ownership for areas of responsibility. Pursue solutions and make decisions.
- Take initiative to understand customers and their environment, dedicated to quality client service, and proactive and responsive to client needs.

- Work within the confines of a cloud-based system maintained by the vendor.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Share responsibility with team members for 24-hour on-call problem resolution.Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
In-depth knowledge of Windchill with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Programmer / Configuration Analyst utilizing and configuring Windchill.Heavy configuration and ACL management skillset is essential.Experience with SVN and JIRA is a definite plus.Experience configuring and working with Windchill to solve business needs.Experience working with PTC under the SaaS model – all hardware located in their data center.Experience writing functional requirements and associated test cases.Skills
Strong orientation to customer satisfaction.Strong knowledge of listener / datautility / validator / businessRule / filter / form programming, Javascript, workflow / lifecycle customization, Windchill debugger, and familiarity with SQL is a plus.Ability and willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.Demonstrated ability to initiate, promote, and exhibit team-oriented behavior.Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple business disciplines.Ability and willingness to educate and train others.Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Or an equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.
