Data Collection and Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 32

Number of Staff : 63

Type of Staff :

Day Shift : 1 charge nurse, 1 unit clerk, necessary nurses to care for patients

Night Shift : 1 charge nurse, 1 unit clerk, necessary nurses to care for patients

Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 or 1 : 3

Type of Equipment : Vents, Oscillators, Vapotherm

EMR : Centricity Perinatal and Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile Skill Set :

Most recruited for : Must have ventilator experience, experience with 23-40+ week gestation infants

Preferred Skills : Candidates with this experience will be considered first. Ventilator / Oscillator, CPN charting

List of Typical Procedures Performed :

Intubations

Assist with eye exams

Feeding tube insertions

IV insertions

Best Personality Fit : Capable of getting along with others; no "know-it-all" attitude

Floating Areas : Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery

Dress Code : Royal Blue scrubs

Unit Guidelines / Policies : Available for review

Weekends and On Call : 3-4 weekends a month, no on call
