Job Title : Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our team in disassembling a large vertique system and scrapping all components. This project involves working with racking, sortation systems, conveyors, pallet dispensers, palletizers, sprinkler systems, and additional conveyors. As the project nears completion, you will also assist in disassembling a large mezzanine. This role requires proficiency with various mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble large vertique system and scrap all components.
• Handle components such as racking, sortation system, conveyors, pallet dispensers, palletizer, and sprinkler system.
• Disassemble a large mezzanine towards the project's completion.
• Utilize tools including Sawzall, ½ in. impact driver with impact rated sockets, open-end wrenches, large pipe wrench, prybar, 3-pound hammer, side cutters, and general mechanical tools.

Work Environment

This role is based in Houston, TX. You will be required to adhere to safety protocols, including wearing PPE such as safety glasses, safety shoes, a hard hat, a safety vest, and work gloves. The work involves handling sharp metal edges, and high visibility attire is necessary about 50% of the time. The environment is dynamic, with tasks involving both indoor and outdoor components.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
