Color Artist (Print Heavy)

Schedule Tuesday - Thursday

Responsibilities
Evaluate and perform color correction in CMYK and RGB, matching color as necessary to designated files / visualsExecute hi-res imaging and keyart finishing, comprehending and achieving client objectives and desired campaign lookPrepare, optimize, and convert files from RGB to CMYK, following client-specific workflows and protocolsExpand and acquire new knowledge and skills including artistic finishing techniques and evolving Photoshop featuresEvaluate color outputs, determining whether further work is neededWork with and take direction from Shift Leads and Color LeadsKeep leads apprised of changes and developments that may impact delivery and quality objectivesCreate CMYK separations (including regulating GCR and total ink density), PMS plates, and white ink platesAssist Prepress / Premedia departments as needed. Update build files, adjust illustrator callouts, output EpsonsFollow Company and client security policy and asset management protocolsQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years professional experience with finishing and colorAgency and / or Entertainment industry experience a plusA diverse understanding of the graphic arts industry as it applies to digital, prepress, and printingExpert knowledge of desktop publishing tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignAbility to work and communicate with co-workers in a professional mannerStrong knowledge of changing technologies and workflowsPlease submit your resume for consideration.
