Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year, focusing on K-2nd grade in a self-contained elementary classroom setting. This contract position requires delivering specialized educational support to young learners with diverse needs, ensuring their academic and social growth in an in-person environment.

Qualifications :

  • Valid 461 TN Special Education License is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching K-2nd grade, preferably in a self-contained classroom.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, individualized education programs (IEPs), and differentiated instruction.
  • Excellent munication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student success.

Location :

  • Position based in Manchester, Tennessee.
  • In-person attendance required for classroom instruction and collaboration.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet the specific needs of students with disabilities.
  • Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to promote student development.
  • Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
