Start Date : 11 / 3 / 2025\n\nDuration : 13 Weeks\n\nJob Title : Registered Nurse (RN)\n\nProfession : Nursing\n\nSpecialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n\nDuration : 13 weeks\n\nShift : 0700-1930 and 1900-0730\n\nHours per Shift : 12\n\nExperience : Two years current experience required in specialty; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment.\n\nLicense : State Nursing License\n\nCertifications : \n- BLS completed through recognized organizations\n- ACLS completed through recognized organizations\n- NIHSS\n- Must pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test during the first week of assignment\n\nMust-Have : \n- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment\n\nDescription : \nUtilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.\nEnsures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.\nProvides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.\nCoordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient / family and healthcare team.\nInitiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.\nAdministers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy.\nIdentifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care.\nAssumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and non-licensed assistive personnel.\nCompletes patient population / age-specific / procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.\nFloating between departments and / or local locations within 20 miles is required.\nCandidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test.\nCandidates will have one opportunity to re-test if they fail.\nA second failure will result in contract cancellation and all applicable fees will be enforced.\nWeekends and on-call / call back as needed.
