Job Overview
The Data Scientist designs, develops, and implements advanced data science models for priority business use cases across the enterprise, including online experience, marketing, merchandising, supply chain, finance, and store operations. The Data Scientist applies cutting-edge data science techniques to large datasets, driving actionable insights and developing intelligent, scalable AI solutions.
What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need
Proficiency in designing and implementing complex algorithms, statistical methods, and machine learning models across various platforms, including Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with techniques such as regression, segmentation, clustering, predictive modeling, time-series analysis, and machine learning.
Ability to work within a "Big Data" environment, including defining data needs, evaluating data quality, and extracting / manipulating batch or real-time streaming data.
Strong coding skills with a focus on creating scalable, reusable code and models to address business challenges. Expertise in various programming languages and platforms is essential for handling advanced analytics.
Effective collaboration with Senior and Lead Data Scientists, as well as Data and Solution Architecture teams, to align analytics with business needs and ensure smooth execution of projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills to present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in generating impactful visualizations that clearly communicate insights and findings derived from large datasets.
Creative and analytical mindset with the ability to identify data issues, develop actionable insights, and take strategic actions to remediate problems.
Strong interpersonal skills for working across functions and at different levels within the organization, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Ability to translate data science outcomes into business value, supporting initiatives in areas such as marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and finance to drive efficiencies and improve operations.
