job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHome health position serving a diverse patient population with high acuity needs Day shifts, 5x8 hours, typically 08 : 00-16 : 30 Average of 5-20 patient visits per day, managed by a daily point system with 5.2 points as productivity standard Every fourth weekend required with two additional days off around scheduled weekends On-call rotation required for up to 3-5 nights per month, never scheduled on non-working days Territory covers a 40-80 mile radius with mileage reimbursed at $0.55 / mile No floating required within scope Charting is completed in EPIC Responsibilities include lab draws, antibiotic / IV infusions, ostomy care, tube feeding, medication administration, wound vac application, cardiac infusions, and assessing socioeconomic and medical needs Royal blue scrubs and close-toed shoes required; nurse must provide their own stethoscope Weekly overnight on-call responsibilities are limited to nights following a worked day First-time travelers are accepted for this position Candidates must not have been a permanent employee at the facility within the last year A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed per 13-week contract, with no RTO permitted during the first week Modules and fit testing are completed during orientation; fit testing requirements prohibit facial hair that interferes with proper mask seal Mileage reimbursement is provided for all required travel in the territory Upon contract completion, all issued equipment must be returned Active MO or compact RN license required; pending license accepted for consideration Minimum 1 year of home health experience or 1-2 years of med-surg or acute care required Current BLS certification required EPIC charting experience required Phlebotomy, port access and care, wound vac, ventilator knowledge, compression wraps, CADD pump use, ECG monitoring and telemetry interpretation, IV care, wound care, and disease management skills required Must provide valid Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
