Director of Major Gifts

A company is looking for a Director of Major Gifts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a major gifts strategy aligned with the organization's priorities

Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, conducting personalized cultivation and stewardship

Create infrastructure for scalable fundraising and collaborate across teams to enhance donor engagement

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred

7-10 years of progressive fundraising experience, including at least 3 years in major gifts

Proven success in securing five- and six-figure gifts from individuals and foundations

Experience in building or scaling fundraising programs in health, science, or rare-disease environments

Data-informed and organized; proficiency in Salesforce NPSP or comparable CRM
