Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring WI or Compact RN licensure and critical care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab environment
  • Day shifts with on-call rotation on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Position includes interventional radiology procedures
  • Call frequency is 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month
  • Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Ensure thorough and accurate documentation according to system and entity standards
  • Participate in shared governance, performance improvement initiatives, and peer review
  • Provide patient and family education and support
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

    • Requirements

  • Active WI or Compact RN license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • At least 3 years of RN experience with 1 year of critical care experience
  • Cardiovascular intervention experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • NIHSS certification required
  • Must pass EKG test
