HOPCo is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.

As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for a Sr. Accountant in the Finance Department. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Records monthly cash activity for the specialty hospitals, including bank account reconciliations.
• Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries related to equity method investments, IBNR allocation, Intercompany transactions, direct chargebacks as allowed in Master Service Agreements, leased employee entries, and payroll-related entries.
• Responsible for debt entries, including but not limited to, intercompany debt agreements, interest receivable / payable, capitalized debt issuance costs, monthly debt roll forward.
• Partner with the Supply Chain Management department to ensure the accuracy and completeness of inventory. Utilize Coupa to ensure the general ledger is accurately reflected each month-end.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts (Assets and Liabilities) monthly.
• Assists with providing schedules and other related requests in conjunction with the annual audit.
• Assists with special projects as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality concerning company financial information.
• Assist with writing procedure documents, including contract summaries with respective accounting treatment.
