Job Details

  • Travel RN position in a blended ICU at HRMC Jv General Partner in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
  • Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds.
  • Certified Chest Pain Center and Level III Trauma center.
  • Role involves working in ICU / CVICU with adult and geriatric patient populations.
  • Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair / replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR.

    • Job Requirements

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience.
  • Travel experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and ED holding on an as-needed basis.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : 7p-7a (night shift).
  • Weekly guaranteed hours : 36.
  • Call requirements : Yes.
  • No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Flexible shift preference accepted (day or night).

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Unit : ICU / CVICU (Blended ICU).
  • Patient population : Adult and Geriatric.
  • Common diagnoses treated include cardiac events (STEMI, NSTEMI), respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, trauma, and others.
  • Float requirements include Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding area as needed.
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 2.
  • Use of Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR system.

  • Firm start dates must be adhered to; candidates should be submitted for the listed start date only.
  • Housing options are available.
  • Unit has 16 beds with a 1 : 2 patient ratio.
  • Equipment includes Baxter pumps.
