Facility : Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City South – 36-bed inpatient rehab hospital
Location : 7900 Mid America Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK
Start Date : ASAP
Contract : 13 weeks | 40 hrs / week guaranteed
Shift : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM | On-call after hours for emergencies

Lead and oversee daily pharmacy operationsEnsure compliance with JC, CIHQ, CMS, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy standardsImplement new services, procedures, and automationLead Performance Improvement ProgramsManage staff : hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations, coachingSupervise purchasing & inventory managementVerify / dispense medications ; approve technician workMonitor all six critical processes of medication managementProvide clinical services : anticoagulant monitoring, therapy optimization, drug utilization protocolsEducate providers and staff on medication useParticipate in medication reconciliation and document interventionsCollaborate with medical staff and administrationRequirements
Education : BS Pharmacy or PharmDLicensure : Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Oklahoma; Pharmacist-in-Charge credentials as requiredExperience :1+ year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience (full-time; part-time considered with additional experience)
Familiar with at least one EMR and pharmacy information system (preferred multiple systems)Required : hospital automated dispensing experience (preferred Pyxis ES)Preferred : regulatory compliance, audits, policies, staff oversightSkills & Fit
