We areseeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Special Services. This leadership role is crucial in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of specialized mental health services to meet the unique needs of individuals within our community. The Director of Special Services will also be responsible for managing Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS), Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS), and overseeing the Peer Counselors program.

Responsibilities :

Program Development :

Design, implement, and oversee specialized mental health programs to address the unique needs of diverse populations within the community.

Collaborate with clinicians and community partners to develop innovative services for specific populations, such as youth, seniors, or culturally diverse groups.

Staff Leadership :

Recruit, train, and lead a team of specialized mental health professionals, ensuring a high standard of care and cultural competence.

Provide ongoing supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for staff.

Community Engagement :

Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and agencies to enhance access to specialized mental health services.

Represent the clinic at community events and forums, promoting awareness of available services.

Quality Assurance :

Implement and monitor quality assurance measures for specialized services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to measure the effectiveness and impact of specialized programs.

Collaboration with Clinical Teams :

Work collaboratively with clinical teams to integrate specialized services into overall treatment plans.

Provide consultation and expertise to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

Budget Management :

Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for specialized mental health programs.

Identify funding opportunities and grant possibilities to support the expansion of specialized services.

Management of ARHMS, CTSS, and Peer Counselors :

Oversee the implementation and coordination of Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) and Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS).

Manage the recruitment, training, and supervision of Peer Counselors, ensuring their effective contribution to the mental health support team.

Data Analysis and Reporting :

Collect and analyze data related to the utilization and outcomes of specialized mental health services.

Prepare regular reports for leadership and stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of specialized programs.

Qualifications :

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Current licensure is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health services, with a focus on program development and leadership.

Strong understanding of cultural competence and the ability to tailor services to diverse populations.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations related to mental health services.
