About US West Coast Automation Services is a leading HVAC company specializing in system services, technical support, installation, and custom application development for building control systems. About The Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning building automation systems that optimize HVAC performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Building submittals per plan & spec.
• Ordering "smart materials" and procuring material quotes from vendors.
• Design and implement HVAC control systems using DDC (Direct Digital Controls) platforms.
• Develop control sequences, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Program and configure control systems (e.g., BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus).
• Perform system startup, testing, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing control systems.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
