Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring strong IR, cath lab or ICU experience and current MD or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
  • Day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Requires seven on-call shifts over seven weeks, including two weekend shifts
  • Patient population includes those requiring interventional radiology procedures
  • EMR : Epic experience required
  • Responsibilities include providing nursing care during interventional radiology procedures and moderate sedation management
  • On-call responsibilities include nights and weekends as scheduled
  • Scrub attire as per hospital policy
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate, except where specified by unit-specific rules

    • Requirements

  • Active MD or compact RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 3 years IR, cath lab, or ICU experience required
  • Experience with moderate sedation required
  • Experience in facilities with 500+ bed count necessary
  • Neuro IR and ICU experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
