POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Service Veterinarian plays a critical role in supporting Medgene's customers-veterinarians and producers-by providing scientific, practical, and strategic guidance on the use of our Prescription Platform Vaccines. This customer-facing role works closely with account managers, internal teams, and industry stakeholders to ensure optimal vaccine implementation and herd health outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with account managers to educate and advise customers on Medgene's vaccine solutions through in-person and virtual meetings.Support business development strategies by identifying opportunities and aligning vaccine solutions with customer needs.Design and implement field trials and demonstrations in partnership with customers.Deliver technical training and education to internal teams and external stakeholders.Represent Medgene at scientific and professional meetings, presenting data and insights.Manage ISPRIME™ diagnostic budgets and interpret diagnostic results to support customer decision-making.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medgene products, services, and industry trends.Build and maintain relationships with experts in swine production, veterinary diagnostics, and related fields.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Monitor and report adverse events and product quality complaints in compliance with USDA and FDA regulations.Partner with R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to provide field insights that inform product development and lifecycle management.Serve as a liaison between field veterinarians and internal scientific teams to ensure customer feedback is integrated into product strategy.Provide timely, science-based responses to product inquiries, including proper use, extra-label use, and perceived lack of efficacy.Support complaint investigations by gathering relevant clinical and product information.Develop and deliver educational content for veterinarians, producers, and internal teams.Analyze diagnostic and field data to support evidence-based recommendations and product positioning.Contribute to the development of technical bulletins, case studies, and white papers.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.Minimum 4 years of experience in swine production medicine.An advanced degree (MS or PhD) or board certification by an AVMA-recognized specialty is preferred but not required.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency in digital tools and data interpretation.Ability to travel up to 50%.Proven ability to build relationships and communicate complex information clearly.Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee employment.
