Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Landscape Project Manager located in El Paso, TX. The Landscape Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing landscape projects from start to finish, managing project logistics, conducting site inspections, coordinating with teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This role will also involve expediting materials and services needed for projects. This role will lead crews and deliver high-quality landscaping projects, and requires proactive problem-solving and maintaining clear communication with the GC and clients, as well as with the company's high management.
Responsibilities
- Manage landscaping project planning sessions to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation through to closure.
- Proactively address issues and keep GC updated. Maintain direct communication with clients, office managers, and designers to provide updates and address any issues or change orders.
- Conduct requirements gathering and analysis to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during project phases.
- Oversee budgeting and cost control measures to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders throughout the project.
- Employ risk management techniques to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Utilize tools like Dropbox, Microsoft, Procore, LCP Tracker, etc., for documentation and collaboration.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure quality management practices are adhered to throughout the project process.
- Lead crews and coordinate schedules by creating plans and setting goals.
- Handle and oversee irrigation installs, planting work, and landscape work orders from the service management department.
- Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for projects.
- Coordinate project management tasks with the head of the landscape department.
- Ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards.
Administrative Skills :
Review employee reports and project checklists.Send professional emails and communicate effectively with clients and teams.Use Microsoft Office and basic office tools for documentation and reporting.Follow company processes and maintain accurate records.Manage employee timesheets and coordinate overtime as needed with the head of the landscape department approval, and generate the reports accordingly.Qualifications
Proven experience in project management with a strong understanding of PMBOK principles. 3+ years of landscaping project management (preferred)Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and conflict resolution. Strong problem-solving and communication skills (must-have).Familiarity with program development, design, and implementation processes.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and meeting facilitation.Experience with data analysis and collection techniques to inform decision-making processes.Ability to perform business process modeling and process mapping for improved efficiency.Knowledge of irrigation (or willing to learn)Administrative / clerical experience (emails, checklists, reports)Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is a plusExperience in the landscaping industry is a plusWe Offer :
