Proven project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines. A team oriented, collaborative approach, with the ability to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong writing skills with the ability to quickly simplify complex topics, produce high quality analyses, and craft compelling materials. Power Point experience is a requirement. Strong interpersonal skills who works well in teams and values relationships but is also able to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit. Director, Government Affairs (Energy & Sustainability)
Responsibilities
- Drive impactful change : Design and execute advocacy strategies that help clients meet their goals in the energy, environment, and infrastructure sectors.
- Be a trusted advisor : Guide clients through the rapidly evolving landscape of energy policy, tax legislation, and regulation, delivering actionable insights that make a difference for our clients.
- Lead with purpose : Manage projects to deliver measurable impact, foster collaboration, and deepen client relationships.
- Build powerful networks : Cultivate strong relationships with key policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders in Congress, the Administration, and federal agencies.
- Stay ahead of the curve : Monitor and analyze legislative, regulatory, and industry trends across key sectors and alert clients to opportunities and risks.
- Champion client interests : Represent clients in meetings with government officials, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
- Delivering superior products : Develop high-quality written materials to effectively communicate and advance client objectives across policy, corporate, and legislative arenas.
