As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned government locations. This post involves routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment for all occupants. The position is primarily focused on driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is required. You will be a critical part of fostering a welcoming atmosphere, delivering outstanding customer service, and upholding our values of integrity, reliability, and teamwork every day.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents as required by site procedures.

Assist visitors, staff, and / or contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.

Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local authorities in the event of incidents or emergencies.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all patrols, incidents, and security-related activities during each shift.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
