Salary : $85,000 – $95,000 per year
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead operations, inspire teams, and deliver exceptional guest experiences at a vibrant hospitality venue in Providence, RI. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will manage all aspects of operations, develop talent, and ensure financial and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Champion a culture of hospitality, warmth, and service excellence.
- Engage with guests proactively, addressing and resolving issues professionally.
- Ensure best-in-class standards for cleanliness, ambiance, and product quality.
- Oversee all FOH and BOH operations to guarantee seamless execution and memorable experiences.
Team & Talent Development
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff.Set clear goals, expectations, and career development pathways for team members.Foster an inclusive workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent.Manage hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives in partnership with culinary and support teams.Financial & Operational Leadership
Set and achieve financial targets, including sales, labor, and cost controls.Use data and reporting tools to guide operational decisions and strategy.Optimize ordering, inventory management, and vendor relationships.Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.Process & Innovation
Maintain high standards for safety, sanitation, and quality.Support menu rollouts and operational initiatives, ensuring team readiness.Implement technology and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.Brand & Community Engagement
Drive local marketing and brand-building initiatives.Represent the venue in the local community and build partnerships.Cultivate a loyal guest base through events, outreach, and engagement programs.Qualifications
5+ years in progressive restaurant leadership roles, including 2+ years as a General Manager.Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.Operational expertise : P&L management, scheduling, ordering, and regulatory compliance.Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and restaurant management tools.Deep passion for hospitality, guest experience, and team development.What to Expect
