Job Summary :

The department of Chemical and Materials Engineering is seeking an Administrative Services Assistant.

Will support the department business office by placing departmental orders for supplies; preparing and processing PRD’s and shopping carts; assigning and maintaining financial control numbers. Oversee ordering and receipt of supplies / chemicals for research laboratories. Provide back-up for procard edits and payroll.

Considered the primary administrative support for the Department Chair. Assist faculty and staff in organization and execution of department events including seminars, alumni events, faculty recruitment, and industrial interactions. Support activities related to student groups. Assist the department chair and other department officers in content development for publications, posters and social media.
