About The Position

Position Summary

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The RN delivers care utilizing the nursing process, collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and ensures optimal patient outcomes. This role requires advanced clinical skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring within the Cath Lab environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.

Scrub, circulate, and monitor during interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures.

Interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, responding appropriately in emergent situations.

Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Monitor patient status, administer medications, and provide procedural support as required.

Offer education, emotional support, and clear communication to patients and families before, during, and after procedures.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols.

Accurately document patient care, procedural details, and treatment outcomes in the medical record.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience : Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab RN experience – Required

Skills : Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms; scrub, circulate, and monitor during Cath Lab procedures – Required

Technology : MediTech experience – Preferred

Licensure / Certification :

Current Arkansas RN License – Required

ACLS (AHA) – Required

BLS (AHA) – Required

Other :

Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of Batesville, AR.

Facility will not review applicants within a 90-mile radius.

Applicants within 90–150 miles may be reviewed but are less likely to be selected.
