About the Role :

The Assistant Publisher oversees a group of journals, evaluates program performance against company goals, and society relationships through journal contract lifecycles including the renewal of partner contracts.

How you will make an impact :

Partner Management : Ensure through excellent, regular communication that partners are aligned with our strategy.

Contractual Relationships : Negotiate and manage society contracts, set targets, rotate editors as needed, and assist with editor appointments.

Reporting : Provide timely updates to the Director and Senior Director.

Publishing Partner Relationships : Manage straightforward publishing partner agreements and assist with contract renewals.

Collaboration : Support external reporting, publishing services, and business development by working across publishing units.

Project Management : Deliver project management and research support, including data analysis and preparing documents for renewals and new opportunities.

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
