Crouse's 13-private bed Bariatric Services unit is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist patients receiving elective bariatric surgical procedures, post-operative care, wound and ostomy care, and skin integrity maintenance.

Pay Range : $33.00 - $47.86 / hour.

$20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, $15,000 sign-on bonus for newly graduated RNs !

Available Schedule(s) : 8 or 12 hour shifts, Part Time or Full Time, Days, Evenings, or Nights.

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Responsibilities :

• Provides professional judgment and knowledge of roles as it pertains to the Crouse Hospital Professional Nursing Practice Model.
• Carries out duties and responsibilities per legal requirements under the Registered Nurse Scope of Practice, with emphasis on leading a culture of safe care.
• Responsible for all activities requiring assessment, planning, diagnosing, evaluating, judgment, problem-solving, creating and implementing the plan of care.
• Provides appropriate education to patients and families to promote health, facilitate rehabilitation and maintain wellness. Evaluates effectiveness and revises as appropriate.
• Monitors and evaluates patient responses to treatment / plan of care during hospital stay.
• Utilizes and engages in evidence-based practice to deliver quality patient care.
• Demonstrates characteristics and skills that promote critical thinking in clinical problem-solving situations.

Registered Nurse (RN) Position Requirements :

For RNs licensed in or after 2017, completion of a Bachelor's of Nursing Degree will be required within 8 years of the date the license was obtained.
