Job Description
- Proficient in a sterile IV compounding space and able to compound IV antibiotics and TPN.
Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IVs.
Enters data into the computer system for prescription filling and reimbursement.
Assists in prepackaging medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations.
Helps maintain good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications and supplies.
Ensures a clean / safe work environment by checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness.
