Base pay range $60,000.00 / yr - $70,000.00 / yr

DESCRIPTION :

St John Properties is seeking a motivated interior designer with 3-5 years of professional commercial design experience. The position would support our Southern Maryland Leasing and Construction teams. The selected designer will initially work at our company headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland with the goal of transitioning full-time to our Bowie, Maryland office upon completion of a 1 to 2-year training program.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Meet with potential and existing clients to determine space plan requirements

Develop a space plan based on those requirements

Generate pricing drawings to forward to Interior Construction Department to prepare construction estimate

Prepare final set of drawings for construction and permitting purposes

Meet with clients to select finishes

Coordinate planning and construction process with all vendors

Coordination between the Leasing Department and Interior Construction Department

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

3-5 years of experience in commercial interiors and tenant development

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD

Competency in application of commercial building and accessibility codes

Regular attendance onsite is an essential function of the job. Local candidates only please.
