Position

Security Officer | FLEX / Utility Officer | ALL SHIFTS

Job Skills / Requirements

Sunstates Security is currently hiring a FLEX / Utility Officer in the Asheville and Hendersonville, NC area. This position requires you have OPEN AVAILABILITY.

Starting pay of $18 / hr with weekly pay.

The Utility Officer is an on-call Officer position that covers posts as needed due to call offs, staff shortages, or client-requested extra coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• In addition to the requirements of regular Security Officers, the Utility Officer is expected to maintain detailed notes on all sites they train at to provide seamless service to the clients when they must cover that post.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to keep track of time for post worked and submit to Operations manager no later than 10am on Friday.

Quality Standards

Note : If you are selected for hire and you do NOT possess an active PPSB Security Officer license, you are REQUIRED to attend a 2-day (8 hour) PPSB training course prior to being assigned to your respective post & shift.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Education & Certification

Education : High School diploma or equivalent

Certification : PPSB License
